    Everyone is invited to attend on Saturday, June 6th. The pre-show is at 6:30 pm with main events of the rodeo starting at 7 pm. The Hometown Rodeo features bull riding along with other heart pounding events such as saddle bronc and bareback riding, barrel racing, mutton busting, and more! Bleacher seating is limited, so spectators are invited to come early and bring folding chairs for comfortable seating.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Growing up, my brother and I were a dynamic rodeo duo. We competed in all the timed events during junior and high school rodeos. But rodeo wasn’t just about competing; it was about narrating the thrilling action. Even as a kid, I was drawn to the role of the announcer. Whether we were playing “rodeo” in our backyard, or I was taking the mic at local gatherings, announcing seemed to come naturally to me. Others took notice, and in 1991, right out of high school, I was asked to announce the local high school rodeo. That was the moment that set me on my path.<\/p>\n

    From there, I found myself hired to announce junior and amateur rodeos all across the Lone Star State of Texas and even into the vast landscapes of New Mexico. After college, I decided to chase my calf roping dreams and swiftly earned my PRCA card. I roamed the pro rodeo circuit for several years, crisscrossing the country from coast to coast. It was during my spring journey through California that I met the love of my life, Kelli. Fate had its way, and I eventually relocated to the Golden State, concluding my tie-down roping career with a California Circuit finals qualification in 2003.<\/p>\n

    It was then that I shifted my focus back to my other passion: announcing rodeos. I set out to obtain my PRCA Announcer card and make rodeo announcing my full-time profession. In 2005, Kelli and I tied the knot, and we’ve been fortunate to build our lives together while traveling to rodeos ever since.<\/p>\n

    I’ve been honored to be selected nine times by the PRCA to announce the National Finals Steer Roping, and I’ve had the privilege of announcing the Ram National Circuit Finals twice. Throughout my career, I’ve announced many fantastic rodeos across the United States and Canada, sharing my passion for rodeo with fans far and wide.<\/p>\n

    Join me in celebrating the thrill, grit, and glory of rodeo as I take the mic and bring the heart-pounding action to life in the arena. It’s not just a job; it’s a calling, and I can’t wait to continue sharing this incredible journey with all of you. Y’all ready for some rodeo excitement? Let’s rodeo!<\/p>\n

    Shotgunn Nate Reed<\/h4>\n

    Shotgunn works rodeo events all over the United States from PRCA to PBR and everything in between entertaining audiences everywhere, putting smiles on their faces. He was selected 2x for the Turquoise Circuit PRCA Finals as the barrel man and 1x Colombia River Circuit PRCA Finals Barrel Man. He was also chosen 5x to The Challenge of Champions Finals and has worked the GCPRA finals 8x as well was chosen 3x GCPRA Clown of the year. Shotgunn feels truly blessed in being able to share his dream and excitement of rodeo with thousands of people, as he travels up and down the highway. Making people smile is his biggest accomplishment at the end of every rodeo.<\/p>\n

    Shotgunn was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 18 months old. He has lived his whole life being told you cannot do this and cannot do that because of your illness. He never looked at himself as if he had an illness. Diabetes will not stop you if you don\u2019t let it. As he always says\u2026Let The Good Times Roll!!!<\/p>\n
