SUMMARY:Summer Send-off Beach Party & Cardboard Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the the first-ever Summer Send-off Beach Party a
 nd Cardboard Regatta at Bartholomew Park! \n\nParticipants will bring th
 eir completed cardboard 2-person boats to race on Bartholomew Pond. Boat
 s must be built of cardboard and duct tape only\, but how you decorate y
 our watercraft is up to you! Prizes will be given for a variety of categ
 ories\, including Fastest Boat and Best Team Spirit. After the races\, w
 e will battle it out in a Swamping Competition where the last floating b
 oat wins! \n\nParticipation in the Cardboard Regatta is free\, but advan
 ced registration required - no day-of registration is offered. For full 
 rules and regulations\, please follow the link to the registration infor
 mation. \n\nIn addition to the Cardboard Regatta\, there will be a varie
 ty of other free activity stations set up around the park. Activities in
 clude: Lawn Games\, Watermelon Eating Contest\, Face Painting\, Chalk th
 e Trail\, and more! Concessions and Kona Ice will be on-site with snacks
  and treats for sale. \n\nThis event is part of Summer Send-off Week. Re
