    Springville Police Department provides a number of other services<\/b><\/p>\n

    Cat Traps<\/h4>\n

    Springville residents may reserve a trap to catch stray cats. You must have identification and proof of residency. There is a $60.00 deposit, however there is no charge for the use of the traps for Springville residents. (The deposit will be refunded if the trap is returned in good working condition.)<\/p>\n

    Alcohol Breath Testing<\/h4>\n

    Persons under court order, or who need a non-custodial<\/em> breath test may contact the police Department Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. There is a fee of $20.00 for this service.<\/p>\n

    R.A.D. Self Defense Class for Women<\/h4>\n

    Springville offers a five day self-defense course for women at various times during the year. Called R.A.D., this course is a women-only class designed to teach women and girls basic self-defense skills. Watch the City calendar for dates!<\/p>\n

    Merit Badges\/Scouting<\/h4>\n

    If you are interested in having an officer assist with a Merit Badge for a Scout Troop, please contact us for details, or use the “Tour of the Police Department” link above.<\/p>\n

    Rehab Centers<\/h4>\n

    freerehabcenters.org<\/a> has collaborated with institutions nationwide to provide support through freely accessible rehabilitation services.

    Firearm Safe Harbor Law<\/h4>\n

    The Safe Harbor Law allows a cohabitant (someone aged 18 or older living in the same home) to voluntarily surrender a firearm to law enforcement for temporary safekeeping if they believe someone in the household poses an immediate threat to themselves or others.<\/p>\n
