    Springville City owns and manages the irrigation canals that run through Plat A; the rest of the system is managed by the Springville Irrigation Company.\u00a0Some runoff from streets does go into irrigation canals.<\/p>\n

    Pressurized Irrigation<\/h2>\n
    Springville City\u2019s Pressurized Irrigation (PI) system will begin charging (filling) on April 1, 2026, with plans to be fully charged and ready for use by April 7, 2026. This is a reminder to all residents who utilize PI, please do not use your secondary sprinkler systems until April 7th. You are advised to close your private isolation valve by the meter box before the charging process begins. You will want to check your sprinkler system for leaks. Also, please remember that secondary water is not potable, and is not for drinking. This information supersedes the dates listed in the Spring 2026 Springville newsletter.<\/div>\n

    Because the pressure of the secondary water is so much higher than culinary water, please be aware that more water will be going through your sprinkling system. If you do not have a PRV, you will need to reduce your watering duration time to avoid high water bills.<\/p>\n

    Once you have disconnected your sprinkler system from the culinary water system and connected to secondary water, you will need to fill out the Pressurized Secondary Water Application and Agreement. Once the application\/agreement has been filled out and signed, please contact Springville City Public Works to schedule an inspection.<\/p>\n
