Notice is hereby given that Springville City will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at the Springville Civic Center, located at 110 South Main Street, commencing at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments on the vacation of a public street at approximately 1440 North Street.
Springville City is requesting that 1440 North Street, located north of the current location of Joe Bandido’s, be vacated for the purpose of future construction taking place in the surrounding area as proposed by Springville Rising. According to plans for the future development of the area, 1440 North will not be part of the updated transportation system serving the development. All utilities located underneath 1440 North will either remain in place or be moved to a location that will better serve the future development of the surrounding area.
The following is the legal description of 1440 North Street:
Commencing South 824.89 ft & East 1840.16 ft from the NW Corner Section 28, Township 7 South, Range 3 East, Salt Lake Base & Meridian; West 259.31 feet; North 89°43’28” East 258.96 feet; South 26.17 feet; South 03°07’06” East 3.18 feet to the point of beginning.
Copies of the proposed vacation are available at the City Administrative Offices, 110 South Main Street, Springville. All interested people are invited to attend and make comments.
