The Public Works department is dedicated to providing quality support and service to the residents of Springville to ensure their needs and concerns are handled in an efficient and effective manner.
Divisions
Responsible for maintaining the culinary water system, including meters, wells, chlorination stations and pressure reducing valve stations. They are responsible for maintaining the pressurized irrigation system as well as the water in Bartholomew Pond. They also oversee Plat “A” irrigation and the Highline Ditch.
Responsible for maintaining the roads, curbs, gutters and sidewalks, snow removal, street and traffic signs and residential garbage and recycling services.
Responsible for maintaining the sewer main pipelines, storm drain pipelines, the waste water treatment plant, the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) and operating and maintaining the yard waste facility.
Responsible for designing and coordinating capital improvement projects for the City, traffic systems, encroachment/excavation permits, infrastructure inspections, city maps, updating Master Plans and assisting with the development review process.
