Get ready to become a confident, capable, and in-demand babysitter by joining the Clyde Recreation Center Babysitting Boot Camp. This high energy, hands-on course is designed for youth ages 10–15 and focuses on the skills every great babysitter needs.
Participants will learn how to build their babysitting business, stay safe and responsible while on the job, engage children with fun and age-appropriate activities, take leadership in the home, and prepare for basic first aid emergencies. The class is interactive and activity-based, combining real-life scenarios with games and practical learning.
This is a three-hour course. At the end of the class, each participant will receive a Babysitting Starter Kit that includes a planner, a first aid kit, and activities to use while babysitting.
The class will be held the last of Saturday of every month from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Please come prepared to have fun!
