First aid, CPR, and AED Training
This course is offered to anyone interested in becoming Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED certified. This course is OSHA compliant and will help you be more prepared to respond to emergencies at any place and at any time.
*There are no prerequisites required for this course, we encourage everyone to take it.
This class will teach you skills needed to respond to
- Breathing and Cardiac Emergencies (CPR, AED, Choking)
- Injuries (broken bones, burns, cuts, stings)
- Sudden Illnesses (heat/cold related emergencies, allergic reactions)
This course requires both online and classroom learning.
Once registered you will be given access to the online portion of the course which should be completed before the classroom portion of the course.
- Online course time: 55 minutes to 2 hours and 10 minutes
- In Classroom course time: 2 hours or less
- Total course time including the online portion should take between 3-5 hours.

To successfully complete the course you must:
- Complete the online portion of the course
- Attend and participate in the complete in-classroom skill session
- Demonstrate skill competency
- Pass a final written exam
Once you have successfully completed the course you will shortly receive a digital certification available for print through email, this certification will be valid for 2 years.
Lifeguard Course
Red Cross Lifeguard Course, CPR/AED, and First-aid.
You need to be 15 yr. Old before the last day of the course.
The registration will include:
- Certification fees
- Digital manual
- Resuscitation mask
Required Pre-Requisites:
Swim test:
- Swim 150 yards demonstrating good breath control and swim technique.
- Immediately following the swim, tread water for two minutes without using your hands.
- Swim another 50 yards without a break.
*Goggles are permitted for this test.
Timed Brick Test:
- You have 1 minute 40 seconds.
- Staring in the water swim 20 yards.
- Dive down and retrieve a 10lb brick from the bottom of the 13 foot end of the pool.
- Once you surface, swim the brick 20 yards back across the pool keeping both hands on the brick and your face out of the water.
*Goggles are not permitted for this test.
In order to complete the course you must:
- Score 80% or higher on the final written exam.
- Complete the online portion.
- Show skill competency and team work.
- Please bring a swim suit, towel and snacks to class.
*You must attend all classes.
*Makeups may be possible dependent on the situation.
What to bring to class:
- Towel
- Swimsuit
- Pen/notebook for notes
- No speedos for men, and no two-piece or string ties for the women
*Completion of this course does not guarantee employment
