Registration is open for skateboarding (Limited spaces available per class).
Skateboard Clinic:
Come learn to shred! Kids will learn the basics of skateboarding including how to maneuver, basic tricks, safety tips and skatepark etiquette. The class will include direct teaching time as well as free-skate time where kids can practice shredding and continue to get personal feedback from a skateboard veteran of over 30 years. Participants must provide their own skateboard and helmet/safety gear.
- Ages 8 -18
- Held on Thursday evenings, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- 6 weeks total – July 30, Aug 6, 13, 20, 27, Sept 3
- Fee is $60, Max 12 people per class

- Skateboarding is a fun recreation and action sport. Regular practice improves core strength, balance, skill, and athleticism. This clinic is a great addition to your child’s summer activities!
Rec1 Online Registration
Registration is online 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at (801) 489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be reset. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone. Recreation staff can help by phone, so coming to the office isn’t necessary unless you are paying with cash or a check.
