Contests
There are many Art City Days contests that the public can participate or simply be a spectator. Either way there is lots of fun for everyone!
Some contests require preregistration for participants and spectators are of course welcome!
Various prizes and/or bragging rights are on the line at the following activities:
5K Family Color Run
June 6, 2026
Registration is required. Great prize drawings for all participants at the end.
Medallion Treasure Hunt/Daily Mini Treasure Hunt Riddles
June 8-12, 2026
A new clue is posted daily to the website during Art City Days. Be the first to figure out where the medallion is hidden!
Eye Spy Photo Hunt
June 8-13, 2026
Look closely at Springville and try to find the 20 things and places that are visible in plain sight to the public. Clues are posted to the website during Art City Days. The first person or group to find all the places in town will win! There will be a drawing for additional prizes for anyone that turns in at least 18 correct photos by 9:00am on June 15th.
Puzzle Competition
June 9-10, 2026
Back by popular demand—with an extra day added! Join us for some puzzling fun and sign up for our 500-piece or 1,000-piece puzzle competition. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
Meet the Mayor, Catch the Council
June 10-13, 2026
The Mayor and each of the Council Members will attend specific events where they will give out prizes to those who ask.
Battle of the Bands
June 11, 2026
Free music in the park while browsing the craft and vendor booths, and a chance for your band to win prizes. Sponsored by Mountain Rock Music.
Duct Tape Regatta
June 13, 2026
The splashy-est Art City Days tradition! Create a team for this cardboard boat race at Bartholomew Park. Enter your group for a chance to win great prizes.
